Relation between Speed Ratio with Time Ratio

Two persons, say P and Q, move in opposite direction after starting at the same time. P takes x hrs to reach starting point of Q, and Q takes y hrs to reach P's starting point. Then 

P's Speed : Q's Speed = √y : √x
